Here you can explore the options available on our 3, S-Type bodies.

 

We offer standard 50's 60's and 70's style S-Type bodies however we also offer year specific options upon request. Their main variation is in the depth of the contours however this infact changed gradually over the years such that a '62 and a '63 strat do infact have slightly differing depths.

 

1950's

 

This has that recognisable extra deep 50's contour that we believe can only be achieved by hand carving just like the old days.

It has the standard 0.65" deep neck pocket.

 

1960's

 

Again the deep contours are hand carved and sanded however the contour is slightly less dramatic than the 50's body.

Same standard neck pocket depth & the control cavity is of a slightly differing shape as per 60's Fender bodies.

 

1970's/Modern

 

As Fender cost cutting developed, so the contours were reduced however these still remain hand carved with the depth being much reduced to what we see today on the American Standard.
