We love to use good old Fender USA hardware alongside top spec producers such as Bigsby, Schaller, Kluson, Sperzel and the like.

 

Whilst we are happy to use your choice of hardware and plasticware, we also have a few, little known secrets, such as our extra thick neck plate just like they used in the old days of Fender, before cost cutting was employed.

These alternatives really are top of the line choices that we will always reccommend should your project require it.

 

Although polymer based scratch plates and control knobs are the most requested, we can and do also offer, exotic wood and other interesting and precious materials alongside a variety of unusual and custom options as alternatives for scratch plates and control knobs.

 

As for the electronics, we handwire and solder all of our guitars which are also, if requested fully shielded using a combination of copper shielding paint for the cavities and a full size 0.4mm aluminium plate for the under side of the pickguard.

Today, you will only find such shielding at the hands of the master builders, or us of course, where almost all modern Strats are loosely shielded with a small segment of aluminium tape surrounding the pots only.

 

Our methods allow for the optimum shielding effects whilst also allowing for a cleaner wiring job altogether.

It is a similar process comparable to how it was done in the early days of Fender production, before cost cutting was employed.
