His favourite guitar, his first wife, Number One is the beaten up tone monster that we all know and love. With its 1963 alder body, 1962 maple neck with pau ferro finger board and 1959 pickups this truly is a uniquely special guitar. From the left handed tremolo to the hand worn neck contour, from the blistering pickups to the plastic tubing used to prolong sting breakage, we endeavour to recreate each nuance.
