Black Beauty
Jimis favourite, a true Black Beauty
Hendrix bought the '68 strat in California in late October of 1968 which was later used at a plethora of his shows.
This was his first choice guitar, the one he took to jam with other musicians, the one he took to his hotel rooms so it was never out of reach, never out of sight.
After Jimi's untimely death, the guitar was passed onto Monika Dannemann and is now stored in an undisclosed location in the UK.
