- Caroline Carr -

The Principal

(R.A.D.T.C/A.I.D.T.A/ARTS ED. 3 YR DIP. London) 

Caroline Carr was trained by Elva Buck (R.A.D. Examiner) at the Leicester Academy of Dance from the age of three, for thirteen years. She successfully auditioned at sixteen for Arts Educational Schools London (Arts Ed.) and Italia Conti Stage School – winning places at both colleges.

At sixteen, she took her place at Arts Ed. completing three years, gaining all her Advanced grades in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap (R.A.D. and I.S.T.D) and completing her Arts Ed 3yr Dip in Dance Studies.

​

After completing her dance training, she danced professionally for nine years working for Ballet and Musical Theatre Companies in London, throughout the UK and abroad. Caroline danced with the great musical theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh, whilst completing her teaching qualifications.

​

Caroline spent five years in television, taking roles in French and Saunders, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Top of The Pops, and By The Sword Divided to name but a few.

Five years prior to opening her own studios,she taught full time for those five years as a freelance dance teacher in London and Leicestershire, specialising in Ballet and Modern Jazz.

After marrying and having two children, Harry and Grace, she decided in 1997 to open her own dance studios.

- Rosie Price -

Dance Teacher

(Ballet, Contemporary, & Pilates)

(R.A.D.T.S) 

Rosie Price trained at Caroline Carr Dance Studios and then professionally at Elmhurst School for Dance for five years. Rosie subsequently completed a BA Hons degree in Ballet & Contemporary Dance at Rambert School, where she gained the opportunity to collaborate with several internationally revered choreographers within the industry.

 

She started her career working on creative commissions with Rambert Dance Company members and has since worked on a number of contemporary projects in and around the London area.

​

Since returning to her hometown in 2012, Rosie worked at Leicestershire Arts, and on a freelance basis for companies such as Spitfire Theatre Company, delivering workshops, co-ordinating, and choreographing contemporary and physical theatre.

 

Rosie is currently Head of Contemporary and Choreography at The School of Ballet Theatre UK, a teacher on their Associates Programme. She is a full-time dance teacher at Caroline Carr Dance Studios, and a qualified Pilates Instructor delivering the Elements Training Programme.

​

Rosie completed her RAD certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies and is now a qualified and registered teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance.

- Laura Hopper  -

Teacher

(Musical theatre, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, & Singing) 

Laura Hopper trained for ten years at Caroline Carr Dance Studios, subsequently training at Arts Ed London in musical theatre. Laura then moved to Urdang Academy.

Laura moved to Los Angeles to further her training an career, and is currently a professional actress. Laura's acting credits include:
